Dash Sports’ Social Runs

Dash Sports social runs started in May 2019 when our store opened in downtown Clermont. We started out as a group of friends wanting to run in downtown on a weekly basis. This group of runners and joggers continued to grow every week and we decided to set a scheduled run each week.

Every Wednesday, we host a FREE run/walk/jog meet up at Dash Sports starting at 6:30 PM. the FloDash Events Team determines the route which ranges from 3-5 miles (or 30-45 minutes for those walking). Stick around after for drinks from the Dash Sports cooler and share your stories and goals with the rest of the group in a casual indoor and outdoor setting.

There’s no need to sign up or commit to either run. Just show up in your shoes and get ready for fun! If you would like more information, call the store or email us at 741dashsports@gmail.com.

I and my extended family have shopped for our shoe needs at Dash Sports for some time. I date back to when Track Shack in Orlando was the only game in town and can honestly state that I have never purchased from an athletic store that paid more attention to your specific needs than the folk at Dash do. They have extensive inventory and their prices are conpetitive. You’ll be very satisfied with your shopping experience at Dash Sports.

Dash Sports in Clermont, FL is my go to place for my walking shoes. I walk 5 mi/day just with my dogs and my usual daily steps are in the 7-8mi per day. I switched from Altra to Hoka after getting fitted at Dash. The extra cushioning in the Hoka’s has really helped with my arthritic feet. Not only did they take the time to fit me and recommend a style that was extremely comfortable they also gave me Feeture socks to try on the shoes with and I discovered how much I love the “just right” compression the socks offer.Now I will only buy my Hoka’s at Dash because they are a small business and I want to support them. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Annette is the bomb diggity!!! She took so much time with my husband who is a reluctant shoe buyer due to life long foot issues. She was able to listen intently to his concerns and found a shoe that will work for his foot challenges!! She is very knowledgeable and kind. The other staff jumped in from time to time to help. Teamwork makes the dream work. In addition, they connected my daughter with some local running clubs as we are new to the area.

I came into Dash Sports not knowing exactly what I was looking for. Once I decided on the brand and specific shoe style I wanted, the clerk that was helping me was patient with me as I decided what color I wanted. I appreciated that she did not rush me.
