Live Actively
More Than a Place to Buy Shoes
The Dash Sports community in Clermont, FL meets on the sidewalk outside 741 West Montrose Street most weeks of the year. Free social runs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a mileage challenge that tracks what you log across the whole year — none of it costs anything and none of it needs a signup.
Show up walking, jogging, or chasing a personal best and you will find people moving at your speed. Nobody gets dropped and nobody gets timed. Most weeks the run ends with drinks nearby, and once a month there is free Corelli's pizza waiting when you get back. That has been the pattern since 2006, because a store that fits shoes for a living ought to be out using them too.
"Being part of the running community and downtown Clermont is a top priority for me. I understand the importance of being good neighbors and giving back. Live Actively is our business mantra and what I live by daily."Kimberly Grogan · Owner, Dash Sports

Events & Races
Local 5Ks, trail races, and endurance events we support, plus the mileage challenge you can log all year.
Giving Back Across South Lake County
Being a good neighbor is not a marketing line here. Dash Sports supports Christmas Across South Lake, the Kiwanis Club of South Lake, and the South Lake Chamber of Commerce, along with school teams, race fundraisers, and local causes that get people up and moving.
If your organization needs a donation, fill out our request form rather than calling around. Every request gets read, and we respond within two weeks when we are able to help. Causes tied to health, wellness, and active living tend to be the ones we can say yes to most often.
Recognized by the Neighbors We Serve
South Lake County voted us Best Retail Store in 2026, and in 2025 we were named one of the best running stores in the United States. Running Insight put us in its pages in 2026, twenty years after the business opened its first doors at the National Training Center.
The recognition we care about most shows up online, one review at a time: 5.0 stars across more than 1,100 Google reviews between our Clermont and Winter Garden stores.
