It gets you most of the way there. The two things we cannot do over a screen are put your foot on a Brannock device ourselves and let you run on the treadmill before you commit. Everything else translates surprisingly well, because the biggest clues are your wear pattern and your own account of what hurts.

If you are within driving distance of Clermont or Winter Garden, come in — the in-store fitting is complimentary and it is the better experience. Virtual fittings exist for the customers who genuinely cannot make the trip, and for them the choice is not store versus screen, it is expert guidance versus guessing on a website.

The consultation is complimentary, exactly like the in-store fitting. You pay for shoes only if you decide to buy, and there is no charge for the fitter's time whether you order that day, think it over, or go a different direction entirely.

Evenings before or after store hours can usually be arranged, which helps if you are in a different time zone or working a shift schedule.

Try them on carpet with the socks you actually wear, and give us a call before you take them outside. Unworn shoes in original condition can be returned within 30 days with your receipt, so nothing is locked in the moment the box lands on your porch.

Usually the fix is a half size, a wider width, or a different last rather than a whole new model, and we can sort that out on a five-minute follow-up call. If the size or model you need is not on the wall, we special order it, and most arrive within three to five business days before shipping on to you.
